Five states, four names for the same PA paperwork
This week we hold the language up to the light: Arizona, Indiana, Nevada, New Jersey and Ohio each name the PA's governing document differently. One federal notice touches disability documentation you may be asked to write.
On the docket
SSA issues SSR 26-2p on documenting disability in young adults
The Social Security Administration published notice of Social Security Ruling 26-2p, which consolidates its policies on documenting and evaluating disability in young adults and rescinds and replaces SSR 11-2p. If your practice supplies records or opinion evidence for disability claims, this is the ruling the agency will apply to that documentation.
